Your take on WHAT THE D.A. SHOULD DO TO A CRIMINAL MOTHER ?

2 counties over, 2 weeks ago.. A mother with her 5 [five] mo. old son went to work, 'forgetting' to drop her infant off at day care. He was left in the car, windows up on a 90 degree plus day while she worked. Unfortunately, upon returning to her car after work, she found her baby boy dead. She of course was frantic & called 911. An autopsy was never performed. That is all. The mother 'forgot' to drop the baby off at day care is her only answer. The d.a. says he cannot find anything to charge the mother with. The day care unit never called her. The d.a. says they spoken with all family members & the family members all support her due to her loss. d.a. says it is punishment enough that she will be thinking about what she did on a daily basis. I maintain he is not upholding the law to the people. The charges should at least be criminally negligent homicide or endangering the welfare of a child. Nothing is being done. Is this our future of mothers ? If a man did the same thing, omg....
