Guys...I need your imput, is this a good way to have "the talk"?

I would like to talk to the guy I have been seeing for a couple months about what exactly our relationship is...I don't want to get anymore involved without having this talk. I am a mental crossroads where I can either start caring, or resolve not to. I have a pretty good idea that he really likes me, but I don't like to ume. My "road map" is in details...Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I really don't want him to feel pressured and then try and say what he thinks I want to hear.
