Should they impose the death penalty for wildfires that are deliberately set?

Miles of woodland scorched, homes destroyed, resources stretched to the snapping point, and in some cases fire fighting personnel killed. Is a person who wreaks all this havoc getting off light with a stiff fine and prison sentence?
