Are the public voices against the healthcare reform bill being ignored?

I agree, the Democrats also keep touting Social Security which is almost bankrupt and Medicare/Medicaid which is not only bankrupt but pays only 50 cents on the dollar. How could anyone vote for a bill that will mirror two already failed policies? Especially after they ear mark the Federal Government to pay Nebraska for it's portion of Medicare/Medicaid.
