I need help deciding either becoming optometrist or eyeMD?

Currently I'm interning an optometrist and I like his duties, sometimes I sit in in patient room and observe. I like the patient intereaction. As an optometrist, I will be the primary care provider for the eyes which means everyone will see me first prior to referring to other docs like eyeMD. The reason why I would consider eyeMD is because I am pharm sci major and I'm interested in applying it to my career. EyeMD can prescribe any medication while optometrist only for eyes. I still don' know if I would like surgery as an eyeMD. I have seen some youtube clips and invasive seems stuff and stressful. Maybe ill be content as an optometrist as I can still prescribe meds for eyes. What do yo think? I heard optometrist one of best careers from us news, us money, kiplinger, and more.
