How long does it take to heal after a tri-malleolar surgery?

I had tri-malleolar surgery on August 11, 2008. Right now, I'm receiving physical therapy (Already had 10 and will have 10 more). I can walk for only 8 min. with the help of a Winnie Walker, then I need to rest for about an hour, and try to walk again later. It has been a very painful injury and recovery. When will I get back to normal?
