Bacterial vaginosis...can anyone relate?

on thursday i went into the clinic to get on BC pills, and asked fo a pelvic exam, i told her about my slightly weird discharge and she took a sample, she came back and said i had BV, and gave me pills. now i noticed the Discharge get a little more noticible...is this normal?? ALSO...did anyone with BV get mild period like pain???***not pregnant, i just posted here***
