Are mullets socialy unexceptable?Is there a better haircut for me?

I used to have a bowl cut when I was a kid, but for the past few years I've had a well tamed mullet. It's still buisness in the front,party in the back, just casual friday buisness in the front and 30 year old party in the back. And it's pretty much the softest hair possible without being greesy. I still get made fun of and rude remarks from time to time? It doesn't bother me, I just want to know if there just dueists(hair due prejudices) or if I should get a hair cut.
